How it works

From brief to keys.

Finding a short-term storefront in New York usually means a dozen inquiries, half of them unanswered. We do the chasing.

You send the brief

Dates, how long, rough size, neighborhoods and what the pop-up is for. Add must haves: corner glass, a back room, fixtures in place, events in the evening.

We send a shortlist

Spaces free for your dates, each with the full storefront sheet and a quote for your length. We also ask landlords and brokers for units that are not listed. Tours arranged on request.

You book direct

Pick the space and sign with the owner or their broker. Before you do, we confirm in writing what matters: delivered condition, power, signage, install and strike days, insurance and deposit.

What makes a good brief

  • Your dates, and how flexible they are. A week either side can change the shortlist and the price.
  • How long you need it, counting install and strike days.
  • Rough size, or what you plan to put in: racks, tables, a counter, a fitting room, an installation.
  • The blocks you want and the ones you would accept.
  • Whether you need walk-in traffic or invited traffic. A showroom does not need Broadway glass.
  • A budget for the space alone, separate from build and staff.
Questions

FAQ

Does it cost anything?
No. Sending a brief and getting a shortlist is free for brands. You pay the space for the booking. Spaces we list may pay us a referral commission when a booking comes through us.
Who do we sign with?
With the space: the owner, the landlord or their broker. We help you read the sheet, but we are not a party to the agreement and we do not give legal advice.
How far ahead should we book?
For holiday and fashion weeks, two to three months ahead if you can. For a quiet month, a few weeks is often enough. A New York State sales tax certificate takes about 20 days, so start that early either way.
Can you help with the build?
Yes, if you want it. Our production partner, LUME Studios, designs, builds and staffs pop-ups in New York. It is optional.

Send dates, size and the block you want. We send back storefronts that fit.
